Came home from work heated up some dinner and read until I finished the book at 11:30pm. Definitely full of suspense and surprises. Plot twists and turns that kept me speculating until the unexpected ending. Trust this voracious reader when I say this book is worth the time to purchase and read you will not be disappointed. The storyline is not unique, but the ways she tells it is captivating and makes you want to read more. Her thrillers are thrilling to read and without all the bad language and explicit details one sees in most other books of this genre. She will always be a favourite of mine. I felt the heartbreak of someone who is trying to start again, but no will to do so. Her past is crippling and finally she finds a purpose to her life. Her gift to a worthy couple. How everything goes so wrong is something I didn’t see coming. All’s well that ends well. But you will be dizzy from all the twists and turns it takes. Surprise ending and HEA are very satisfying. A different view than giving up a child for adoption. Taking this weird topic and twisting it into terror and mystery, good job. The reason is, if you have panic attacks your blood pressure rises and that’s not good for an unborn child and yet Grace is always having them. The plot’s not too bad if kind of predictable. There’s too much of the usual boring I say, he says, she says which is just lazy writing but nothing I might state here will change that but I’ll keep on doing it anyway. After all, nobody twists anybody’s arm up anybody’s back and makes them read my comments do they? Otherwise yes, it killed a few hours and it’s certainly creepy.
